ACTS2 FAQ's

Who gives out the Acts 2 Award?
The Acts 2 award is owned and presented by Indiana Bible College, Indianapolis, IN.  Paul D. Mooney, President.  It has been in existence for about ten years.  Evaluations are performed by one of the IBC Web site staff and then reviewed by Tim Massengale, the Acts 2 ministry director.

How is the award determined?
The site must contain information promoting the New Birth, Acts 2:38 salvation message, and / or the Oneness of God.  The award is given based upon three criteria:  content, design, and originality.  For more details of these three, see About Acts 2

How do I submit my site?
Click on the Submit Your Site link and complete the information
requested. 

How soon will I hear back?  
You should get a reply within two weeks.  If not, feel free to send a
reminder email to:  sysop@apostolic.edu

I upgraded and improved my site.  Can I be reevaluated?
Yes.  Send us an email informing us that you upgraded your site and wish for it to be reevaluated and we will be glad to do so.

What if I disagree with the rating (stars) given.  Can I contest it?  
Yes.  Send us an email explaining why you feel a higher rating is
merited and we will certainly consider it.

I have a really great, professionally designed site but I only got three or four stars.  Why not five?
In our experience, the main place a quality site will fall short is
in good doctrinal material or originality.  Upgrading in one or both areas will usually raise you to five stars.  Feel free to ask how your site might be improved. 

Can I get a breakdown of how my site was rated in the three areas of content design, originality?
Yes. Ask and ye shall receive.

I received the award but I am not on your award list.  Why?
We do not place you on the list until (1) you place the award logo
on your index page or a page designated for awards.  It can't be buried somewhere where few will see it.  (2)  The award logo is linked back to the Acts2 site.  (3)  You notify us by email that this was done and we go out and verify it.  It then takes about a week before you will appear on the list.  If you have done all this and it's still not listed, please notify us and forgive our oversight.

Are you the only Apostolic web site award in existence?
To our knowledge, yes.  If you know of another, let us know and we will be glad to let others know.

How can I show my gratitude for the great job you guys are doing?
Cookies, pizza, and other high sugar / starch snacks are the fuel that our web nerds run off of.  Otherwise, we always need your prayer and encouragement.  Emailed thank-you notes get posted on the wall and read by all.  Take care and God bless!
