About ACTS2For the past ten years, the Acts 2 award has been given out by Indiana Bible College to quality web sites that promote the Apostolic message. Applicants for the Acts 2 Award are given a rating of up to 5 Stars. Ratings are given on the basis of 3 areas, the areas are listed in order of importance:
1. Content: The more good, usable Apostolic doctrine content a site has the higher its rating will be. Content is approximately 40% of the evaluation. If your site does not contain doctrinal information (Acts 2:38 New Birth salvation and the Oneness of God) it is not eligible for the Acts2 award. Offering downloadabe doctrinal files is a real plus. Links to other sites that have great doctrinal content helps as well. Your site should show that you are proud of your God and the truth of your salvation.
2. Design and Layout: The better a website looks the higher the score. While this criteria is somewhat subjective, it's pretty easy to see if a site has a professional look and feel. For basic information on what constitutes good design visit our 'Web Tips' page. Design is approximately 40% of the evaluation.
3. Originality: A unique angle or ministry will add to a website's rating. Originality refers to whether a site provides a special Apostolic niche. Does the site have useful content that cannot be found anywhere else? Is there anything on your site that cannot be found on several hundred other sites? Do you have streaming video? Audio? Flash Bible Studies? Unique downloads? Strive to make your site special. Originality is approximately 10 - 20% of the evaluation.
Our goal and purpose is to promote and recognize quality web sites that spread the message of truth. If you have any questions about the Acts 2 award, or the message we stand for, feel free to contact us.
