Colonel Mike Mullane graduated from West Point in 1967, was commissioned to the United States Air Force, and flew 134 combat missions in Vietnam. He completed three space missions and logged 356 hours in space aboard shuttles Discovery and Atlantis. Retired from NASA, he is now a public speaker on safety training.
